With a holding force of up to 10 kg per 10 cm of tape (for objects up to 10 mm thick), the tape is ideal for attaching nameplates, moldings, and many other decorative and functional items. The ultra-strong synthetic rubber adhesive compensates for minor surface irregularities and adheres reliably to tiles, impregnated or treated wood, and most plastics. Thanks to its PE foam backing, excellent initial tack, and good resistance to moisture, plasticizers, and chemicals, the tape can be used both indoors and outdoors. For optimal adhesion, apply the strips vertically along the entire length of the surface and press firmly for at least five seconds.

Key Features

Very high holding force: up to 10 kg per 10 cm of tape (for objects up to 10 mm thick)

Applications: Indoor and outdoor use

Substrates: Tiles, impregnated/treated wood, most plastics (including PC, PE, PET, PP, PS, PVC), aluminum, steel

Backing material: PE foam

Adhesive: synthetic rubber; initial tack: very good

Tape color: white

Cover color: white with red logo

Thickness: 1,150 µm

Temperature resistance (short-term/long-term): 40 °C

Chemical resistance: good; Moisture resistance: good; Plasticizer resistance: good

UV resistance: moderate; Removability after 14 days (85 °C, 95% relative humidity): moderate

Adhesive strength (initial), among others: aluminum 15 N/cm, PET 15 N/cm, PVC 15 N/cm, steel 15 N/cm

Adhesive strength (covered side, initial), among others: aluminum 11 N/cm, PET 13 N/cm, PVC 13 N/cm, steel 11 N/cm

Variants: 1.5 m x 19 mm; 5 m x 19 mm

Can be cut to size into short or long strips

Simple, quick attachment without tools

Applications

Mounting heavy decorative objects indoors

Mounting nameplates on doors and walls

Installing moldings, trim, and decorative profiles

Secure fastening of plastic and metal parts to smooth surfaces

Permanent fastening in protected outdoor areas, e.g., on tiles or treated wood

Summary

With the tesa PRO 66792 Mounting Ultra Strong mounting tape, you get an extremely strong, versatile, and easy-to-use mounting tape that reliably holds heavy objects and eliminates the need for drilling—the professional solution for fast, clean, and permanent fastenings.

For more information, please refer to the data sheets
