The 65-mesh PET/cotton fabric backing, combined with a high-performance natural rubber adhesive, ensures strong adhesion, even on slightly rough surfaces such as rough-cast plaster, masonry, wood, PVC, anodized aluminum profiles, or glass. When used outdoors, the blue fabric tape can remain in place for up to 3 weeks thanks to its good UV and aging resistance and can then be removed easily and without leaving any residue. It is waterproof, moisture-resistant, abrasion-resistant, has a straight tear edge, and can be torn by hand very easily—ideal for quick, clean application on construction sites or in trade applications. In addition, the tape is excellent for use as a highly visible marking tape. Recommendation: Please always perform an adhesion test on the respective surface before use.

Key Features

Fabric tape for protecting sensitive surfaces during plastering and facade work

Color: blue; can also be used as marking tape

Backing material: PET/cotton fabric, 65 mesh (65 count per square inch)

Adhesive: natural rubber

Thickness: 310 µm

High adhesion to steel: 3.6 N/cm

Tensile strength: 60 N/cm, elongation at break: 11%

Very easy to tear by hand, straight tear edge

Water- and moisture-resistant: good

Suitable for rough and slightly rough surfaces: good

Abrasion resistance: good, fogging: good

UV resistance: good, usable outdoors for up to 3 weeks

Easy and clean to remove

Available sizes: 25 m x 30 mm; 25 m x 38 mm; 25 m x 50 mm

Applications

Protection of window frames during plastering and facade work

Temporary protection of facade components and other sensitive surfaces

Applications on rough plaster, masonry, wood, PVC, anodized aluminum profiles, and glass

Outdoor use for up to 3 weeks

Markings on construction sites, workshops, and storage areas

Summary

The tesa® Plaster Tape UV Fabric 4363 offers professional, reliable coverage and marking for plastering and painting projects: high adhesion, good UV and water resistance, easy handling, and safe removal make it the ideal choice for trades and construction.

For more information, please refer to the data sheets
