The practical, differentiated adhesive strength—stronger toward the carpet, weaker toward the substrate—ensures a permanently strong hold for the flooring while also allowing for largely residue-free removal from the substrate, even after up to 5 years. The tape is largely resistant to aging and plasticizers and does not cause discoloration on PVC\/CV flooring.
