Ready -to -use skin antictions with at least 24 hours long -term effect
- Long -term effect over at least 24 hours, faster activity (approx. 15 seconds before injections)
- Broad antiseptic spectrum of activity (bactericidal including mycobacteria and MRSA, fungicide, limited viruzid incl. HIV, HBV, HCV, HSV)
- Very faster activity and very good skin tolerance
- VAH/DGHM-listed in the sections of skin disinfection and hygienic hand disinfection
Areas of application
- For preoperative skin anticlaps / postoperative seam supply
- Before catheterizations, injections, blood samples, punctures, excisions, cannulas and biopsies
- To support general hygienic measures in the context of the prevention of skin fungal diseases
Application notes
Before all invasive interventions
- Use Kodan® undiluted
- Spray the relevant skin area or apply it with a soaked swab, ensure complete wetting of the skin and observe the exposure times
- Record excess preparation to avoid puddle formation
With preoperative skin anticlaps
- Shorten the hair on the affected skin area mechanically or chemically remove
- In order to avoid blurring skin markings, only use skin marking pencils with sufficient alcohol resistance.
