Application notes
Before all invasive interventions: Use Kodan® undiluted. Spray the relevant skin area or alternatively apply with a soaked swab. Ensure a complete wetting of the skin and observe the exposure times in accordance with the area of application. Record excess preparation to avoid puddle formation.
In the case of preoperative skin antics: Shorten the hair mechanically or chemically remove the hair on the affected skin area. Basic preoperative washes (e.g. with OCTENISAN®) are recommended. When using incision foils before sticking on the film, pay attention to sufficient drying in order not to affect liability. In order to avoid blurring skin markings, only use skin marking pencils with sufficient alcohol resistance.
