The Cleartest Humanofecal HB/Hp Special is an immunological stool test for the qualitative detection of human hemoglobin and hemoglobin-haptoglobin complexes in stool.
Description
The Cleartest Humanofecal HB/Hp Special was specifically developed to reliably and rapidly detect bleeding in the upper and middle gastrointestinal tract. Unlike conventional stool tests, this test detects not only free hemoglobin but also the more stable hemoglobin-haptoglobin complex, which is particularly resistant to the conditions in the gastrointestinal tract. With a detection limit of 50 ng/ml for hemoglobin and 80 ng/ml for the Hb-Hp complex, the test enables precise diagnosis of gastrointestinal bleeding that may occur above the large intestine. The result is ready in just 5 minutes. The test can be easily stored at temperatures between 2 and 30 °C.
