Sterile bakterienbindende Tamponade mit DACC-Beschichtung — für tiefe Wunden, Fisteln und Wundhöhlen.

Beschreibung

Tiefe Wunden, Fisteln und Wundhöhlen lassen sich nicht mit einer flachen Auflage versorgen — sie müssen tamponiert werden. Cutimed Sorbact ist dafür als Streifen erhältlich, der in die Wundhöhle eingelegt wird und dort seine bakterienbindende Wirkung entfaltet.

Bakterien wie MRSA und VRE sowie Pilze binden sich an die DACC-beschichtete Oberfläche, werden irreversibel festgehalten und im Wachstum gehemmt. Beim Entfernen der Tamponade verlassen sie die Wunde mit — rein physikalisch, ohne Wirkstoff. Auch Hautpilzinfektionen gehören zum Anwendungsbereich der Tamponade.
