Dual Classification – Biocide and CE-Certified Medical Device

Ultrasol Oxy Wipes are approved both as a biocidal product (BPR, PT2 + PT4) and as a CE-certified medical device (CE 0482). Surfaces and semi-critical medical devices—such as ultrasound probes, CT, and MRI surfaces—can be disinfected in compliance with regulatory requirements. Facilities subject to documentation requirements do not need a second product.

Spectrum of Activity

• Bactericidal, yeasticidal, tuberculocidal, mycobactericidal
• Sporicidal: C. difficile R027 in 5 min, B. subtilis/cereus in 10–15 min
• Virucidal (broad-spectrum), including noroviruses, adenoviruses, parvoviruses, and polioviruses
• Limited virucidal PLUS effect in just 1 minute

Alcohol-free—ideal for medical devices requiring certification

Suitable for ultrasound probes, MRI and CT surfaces, and alcohol-sensitive plastics and coatings. Not suitable for copper and brass.
