Description

HydroClean® Cavity is specifically designed for the treatment of dry, mildly, and moderately exuding wounds, particularly those with impaired healing potential. This innovative wound dressing is ideal for the cleansing and granulation phases of chronic and hard-to-heal wounds. It contains a superabsorbent polyacrylate embedded in cellulose and pulp fibers and activated by Ringer’s solution. HydroClean® releases Ringer’s solution for up to three days while simultaneously absorbing wound exudate, resulting in continuous wound irrigation. The SAP in HydroClean® inactivates matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) that interfere with wound healing, thereby reactivating the healing process in chronic wounds.
