Description

HydroTac® is an innovative solution for treating wounds in the granulation and epithelialization phases characterized by low to moderate exudation. This foam dressing features a gas-permeable, fluid- and microbe-impermeable outer polyurethane layer coated with a hydrogel. The HydroTac product line offers active, bifunctional moisture management within the wound microenvironment. The hydrogel keeps the wound moist and prevents sticking, while the foam layer absorbs and retains exudate. The outer, waterproof layer protects against bacteria and external contaminants. Suitable for chronic and acute wounds, the gel on the wound side allows for atraumatic dressing changes. The light self-adhesive effect facilitates handling by pre-adhering the dressing to the skin.
