Description

The tesa® 50650 PET masking tape 220 °C is a flexible, blue-translucent high-temperature tape with a polyester backing (PETP) and a high-performance silicone adhesive. It was specifically developed for demanding masking applications, particularly in powder coating, for reliable surface protection, and for bonding nonpolar materials. The silicone adhesive system makes the tape extremely heat-resistant and capable of withstanding temperatures up to 220 °C for up to 30 minutes. Thanks to its thin backing, the tape conforms very well to irregular contours, enabling sharp paint edges and excellent paint adhesion. After use, tesa® 50650 can be easily removed in one piece without leaving any residue, making it ideal for professional and industrial applications.
