Description

tesa® Combitape 6190 is a transparent, double-sided adhesive tape with a PET film backing and a modified acrylate adhesive, specifically developed for the production of corrugated cardboard packaging with a self-adhesive closure and an integrated tear-off tab. Thanks to the protruding MOPP cover (tesa® Fingerlift), the tape is particularly easy to apply. The integrated tear-open aid is located approximately 6 mm to the right and remains on the cardboard during application, allowing the packaging to be opened easily later without additional tools. A balanced combination of shear strength, adhesive strength, and initial tack ensures a secure bond on a wide range of test and kraft liner grades, as well as on many plastics and metals. The tape offers excellent moisture resistance, high static shear strength, and outstanding temperature resistance from -40 °C to 200 °C for short periods.
