Description

The Gilchrist bandage immobilizes the upper arm in an adducted position against the body. Tricodur Gilchrist is designed to be non-elastic and wrinkle-free and can be applied on either the right or left side—a product for both sides, which simplifies inventory management.

The high cotton content in the fabric makes the bandage breathable and gentle on the skin, which is important when worn for weeks at a time. Important for the patient: The upper body remains free, the thumb and fingers remain mobile, personal hygiene is not impeded, and physical therapy exercises are possible at any time. Washable at 30 °C on the gentle cycle. The brace contains natural rubber latex, which may trigger allergies.
